This study examines the composition of estates in Sergipe between 1800 and 1874. To do so, we created series from a collection of 3,430 probate records, divided into 25-year intervals. This method allows us to trace changes in assets and the distribution of wealth, offering a comparison of how property ownership evolved across different regions of Sergipe over time. The findings highlight how processes such as the growth of sugarcane production, diversification of agriculture, population growth, and political-administrative restructuring led to significant shifts in asset management and financial practices throughout the 19th century whose territorial variations delineate the province's economic regions.
